Search

You can search for any order in the Stages app by using the search bar on the Orders dashboard. If you’ve got a barcode scanner, you can search for your orders by scanning the barcodes while focusing the search bar. This lets you find an arbitrary group of orders quickly and take any normal Stages action on them, without hunting through your entire order dashboard one-by-one.

Searching for orders

1. Click the search bar on the Orders page.
2. Enter an order ID or scan a barcode with your scanner.

You can type multiple order IDs and press Enter between each one to search for several orders at once. The results include all matching orders regardless of stage, due date, or open/closed status.

Changing stages from search results

After searching, you can change the stage of any result:

• Individually — Click the stage on a single order and pick a new one.
• In bulk — Select multiple orders, then change their stage together.

For example, after searching for 3 order IDs, you could move one to Open and the other two to Ready to Ship.
